Babbling of Little Charmer
My son has just started to talk recently ( he called 'ma ' after he reached 2 years!). His vocabs, Alhamdulillah is keep growing now. And as at today ,and as i can think of it now, the words that he can say , com (come), mandi, elikop (helikopter), buk (book), ten (train), car, nod (nose), kakka (kakak-our maid), sinni (sini)-> ade sabdu in this two words :) , ceyyi (cherry), nanana (banana) & papapa (papaya)
Few things happen with this little musketeer start to talk...
1. Every Monday my dad will fetch my brother from his tuition class. As usual our little charmer will follow his grandpa. And last week, as he was walking towards the door, out of suddent he walked back towards me and said " tayiiin...tayiiin.. com" meaning that "jarin....jarin...come with me" . I was like...budak ni...sabojela!
2. I came back from office one late evening and was rushing to take my bath before night. So this little charmer wants to follow into the room and he take his book to read. okla, kesian kat dia, I decided to take my bath later and sit with him to read with him. Suddenly this little master telling me " ma, mandi " and pointing his finger to the toilet. I ignored and read to him and he said " Ma! mandi go!" -> (ma, go and take your bath). Tergelak I. And he took my towel and give it to me. amboi dah pandai direct2 orang dah budak kecik ni! hehehe
3. this part is how is calling my hubby i.e. his father. starting with 'sey' and now he's calling his father 'sayang' . Clearly. ish...ish..ish.. not even calling what he is suppose to call his father. I think my husband and I have to call each other by ma and ta kot.
and that's a bit of update of our little charmer, and I feel that this is one of the pleasure and happiness that Allah gives through the toddlers who starts to talk. So innocent, so adorable, so cute.

Something nice to share with
Got this from my friend who forwarded this to me :)
You knew many things would change once you became a mother, but did you expect your vocabulary would be one of them? Here are some common words that may have taken (or will take) on new meaning thanks to your baby:
Amnesia: The condition that enables a woman who has gone through labor to make love again.
Feedback: The inevitable result when your baby doesn't appreciate the pureed carrots.
Full name: What you call your child when you're really mad at him. -> frequently using this vocab now...hehehe
Grandparents: The people who think your children are wonderful even though they're sure you're not raising them right.
Hearsay: What toddlers do when anyone mutters a dirty word.
Impregnable: A woman whose memory of labor is still vivid.
Independent: How we want our children to be as long as they do everything we say.
Ow: The first word spoken by children with older siblings.
Puddle: A small body of water that draws other small bodies wearing dry shoes and socks into it.
Show off: A child who is more talented than yours.
Sterilize: What you do to your first baby's pacifier by boiling it and to your last baby's pacifier by blowing on it.
Two minute warning: When your baby's face turns red and he begins to make those familiar grunting noises.

Well, after long time didn't update my blog, today..i'll try to blog something...
Today I went to my company's annual dinner, and went without hubby because its only meant for the staff. The theme for the dinner is something to do with egypt. Being someone that who is not so enthuasism about following the theme for any dinner, i was taking it recklessly on the attire to wear until 1 hour before the dinner starts. Starting with 1 cloth, i changed to few other cloths ( changed cloth until 7 times!- this is really not me!!) and lastly i put on black jubah and black selendang, which has kias2 egypt/arab people. Being a new staff (7 months with new company) and hardly know staff from other division, and I sat with poeple that i dont know. Plus, my good friends did not attend this dinner and when i want to cancel my attendance, the committee said that if there's replacement, they'll allow me and if there's isn't i have to pay for the seat. so sapa yang nak bayar kan..terpaksala pergi.
The dinner was different from the other dinners that i've attended before. The performance, the lucky draw ( didn't get any! iskk..iskk.. ) and performance by one of the local famous singer. Well, i say , the dinner is glamorous. The food was chinese 6 set-course dinner and i love the dessert! vanilla ice-cream in mango juice. . terliur sampai sekarang. and nasib baik my attire kena with the theme. stayed until 11 p.m and forgot to take the door gift, which is a thermos.
the funny thing is, there are few poeple asked me whether i'm from middle east...hehehe.. maybe sbb pakai celak kot...nampak cam arab kot...hehehe.. (nk perasan sikit).
and tomorrow (sunday), there's no plan to go anywhere yet. need to bring little charmer for outing..if not retort la budak kecik tu!
ok, now getting sleepy...and thats a bit of update for now.
good nite ( or good morning? it's already 2.14 a.m.!!)

Where you go?
Last night when come back home from one-utama with hubby, our little charmer was waiting at the door.
As usual when arrived home, the first thing i'll do is carry my son. but yesterday was soo different and happier because he talked!! and he asked a question! he uttered 'where you go' few times until i answered 'ma pegi one-utama, and ma didn't bring you today because its almost maghrib. we'll go next time,k.' and then he start 'telling his stories', which is still in his baby language. then he went to play with his toys..
hehehe until now i feel grateful and happy (..at last he is trying to talk! it was sooo difficult to see him talking to people...he was a bit shy to talk before...)
There's one time about few months back, where we went to my sis-in-laws place. and when we went in to the house, he was saying ''kom" and repeating for few times and look at all people around there. everyone is like puzzeled what la is my son saying, until i said 'i rasa boy bagi salam laa'. when my everyone replied 'waalaikumussalam' then only my son stop saying 'kom'..oohh..rupa-rupanya bagi salam...Alhamdulillah... :)
my little charmer will be 2 next week! how time flies...

little charmer's first scribble
When I was watching TV few weeks ago, suddenly my son come and sit infront of me with a pen from somewhere and a piece of raya envelope. He start to scribble at the envelope while babbling 'A,B,C' on his own words...
I only taught him once using the pencil and paper and now, everytime when he sees the pen/pencil or paper he'll sit down and start to scribble. (plus, he always sees his grandpa using paper and pencil to play sudoku)

note: the 'A,B,C,D,E' is with the help of his 'ma
Well, his development is really fascinating...

Inai....at my hand..
Henna (Lawsonia inermis, syn. L. alba) is a flowering plant, the sole species in the genus Lawsonia in the family Lythraceae. It is native to tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, southern Asia and northern Australasia with an arid or at least seasonally dry climate
The application of henna is most popularly used on the body as a temporary tattoo. This usage is popular all over the world. It is usually drawn on the hands and feet, where the designs will last the longest text from here

So for this raya, I nak buat henna at my hand. Half hand pon jadi la... The last time I did was during my wedding. And, used to do a lot while studying at UIA dulu.
tp, takde gambar result dia..tangan tak lawa... :)

I Look I See

Dunno if you guys heard of this latest cd( not so latest, was released in 2004) by Yusuf Islam and friends.
I bought the cd early of this year, and we'll play the songs whenever we travel with our son.
Well, the reason I'm posting about this cd is just because the songs are beautifully composed and its just nice to listen and sing along with it. It's actually inspirational songs for children but me as adult would just love to listen to them.
The songs contains the teaching on the Creator, morals, months on Islam [siapa yg tak leh hafal bulan-bulan Islam boleh hafal through lagu ni :) ].My favourite song is Your Mother.
I would like to recommend to buy it. It will cost less than RM15 for the cassette and less RM25 for the cd. (Tak ingat harga dia actually). Kinda promoting this cd...hehe.. Its worth buying and hope it can instill good values for ourselves and our family.
In Malaysia, you can get it from any Islamic bookstore ( I bought at Ummikusayang)like Saba Islamic Media , but am not sure whether other cd shops do sell this in Malaysia. Dunno how about it in overseas, but its quite popular in London, the birthplace of Yusuf Islam.
You may listen to the preview soundtracks of this cd here

Interview Blues
For the past 1 year, i've been attending lots of interviews.. yeah, for the new job, and for a better position.. What made me to write this entry is, after reading here i've experienced similiar situation that my friend had.
One of it is during my early pregnancy days. The interview went very well, and the interviewer, Mr C already gave me tips and what to do/read for the 2nd interview. Well, I was very excited, ye la.. tempat kerja dekat ngan rumah, not even 10 minutes.. Then he asked me whether do I have any questions, then the silly me ask, "Do you recruit pregnant woman?" . Mr C's face expression changed.
Mr C: Are you pregnant?
Me : Yes
Mr C: owh...no no problem, we do, we will give them office work rather than travelling. We dont encourage them to travel during their pregnancy.
Me: ok, nice to hear.. (releived)
Few days passed, when I try to follow up, the respond was that, they already found another candidate to the position. Kelakar kan.. If I tak mention I'm pregnant, the sooner or later they'll know kan..
After delivery, i've attended interviews, and where most of the questions will be based on my commitment and my family, willingness to leave my son for the long hours, what your son will do if you come back late.. Hmm... not worth it la kan tanya soalan2 camni.
Well I suppose its not easy for working mom to look for a new job out there. Tapi ini takkan melunturkan semangat saya to look for something better for the future. :)
